NJ Ease

Morris County recently instituted a program to provide Senior Citizens with a no cost method of obtaining information of interest to Washington Township's Seniors. The program, NJ EASE, provides a simple and easy method to get information about services provided by a number of agencies.

The toll free number, 1-800-564-4656, allows Seniors, their family or caregivers the opportunity to have questions about healthcare, in-home care, long-term care options, insurance, transportation, social activities, nutrition and volunteer opportunities answered.

NJ EASE is a State of New Jersey initiative intended to promote the well being of residents 60 years of age and older. The program is designed to foster independence, dignity and self-sufficiency, regardless of financial status.

In Morris County, the Division on Aging, Disabilities and Veterans is the local access point for NJ EASE. Calls to the NJ EASE toll-free number are handled by staff members who are trained to provide information in a courteous, professional and timely manner.

Resource materials are regularly updated so the information provided by the Morris County EASE staff is always current.

The NJ EASE toll-free number to call in Morris County is 1-800-564-4656. The service is in operation Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM
