PERTINENT INFORMATION FOR PAVILION REQUESTS
Parking
NO parking in front of Senior Center during the week (you WILL receive a ticket if caught doing so). Park in the designated parking lots or park in the gravel parking lot or in the lot by Rt. 24 and East Springtown entrance.
Time
The pavilion reservations are for three (3) hours. We suggest parties be 2 hours long, leaving ½ hr. before and after to clean up.
Fee
Your reservation is NOT secured until payment and application has been received. A credit card is required to be on file for the $50 security deposit. (this card will not be charged unless there is damage to the facility.) The pavilion fee can be paid by, cash, check, or credit card. If paying by check please make checks payable to “WT Rec”.
Restrooms
Check bathrooms prior to start of your event AND after your event has finished. Again they should be left in the condition they were found or better. Make sure you have rolls of toilet paper and soap on hand. If bathrooms are not open, then you will need to provide a Porta John. Bathrooms are closed from mid-November to April 31st (weather permitting).
Park Usage
Reservation are not allowed on any Washington Township event dates. Reservations are limited to one a day, 3-hour maximum stay. ** Please be advised that there will likely be other park users present at the time of your event. Your usage of the pavilion shall not exclude others from using the park.
Liability
Washington Township of Long Valley, NJ will accept no liability for individuals, groups, or organizations using the Rock Spring Park Pavilion.
Security
The person whose signature appears in the permit must be 21 years of age and be physically present during the reservation time on the permit. Designated Washington Township of Long Valley employees may spot check activities at the pavilion to insure park ordinances, regulations and town policies are being met. Permit holder(s) must have the permit available to present to Town employee or law enforcement.
Alcohol
We do not allow alcoholic beverages in the park
Music Entertainment
We do not allow amplified live music, DJ’s, or unusually loud recorded music. Inflatable’s pony rides, etc. and tents are not allowed in the park.
Cleanup
Use empty receptacles provided, and bring your own trash bags. Place bags in receptacles along parking lot. Do not overflow. If everything is full please take trash home. Pick up all papers before you leave (leave the pavilion in the same condition you found it including table placement). Also the pavilion floor must be swept and tables wiped off.
Decorations
Decorations shall be attached in ways that do not damage the pavilion and shall be completely removed following your event, along with your reserve signs. The use of confetti, glitter, rice, and candles is prohibited.
Damage to Pavilion/Park
Responsibility for any damages or extraordinary conditions on surrounding grounds beyond the normal wear and tear resulting from use of the Rock Spring Park Pavilion must be assumed by the person whose signature appears on the permit.

Registration
Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
Cancellation Policy
I understand that there are no refunds and that I must pick a rain date.
Change in Reservation
If a request for a change to the reservation is made five business days or more in advance of the reservation, then a new application must be completed.
Pavilion Description
The pavilion is a 27 x 50 rectangle. There are eight - 7ft picnic tables. There is room for approx. 45 people
ABSOLUTELY no grills allowed on premises.
There is absolutely no alcohol allowed in the parks according to township Ord. No. 137-1 & No 137-3. There are absolutely no animals allowed under the pavilion according to township Ord. No. 137-1
