2026 Yoga for Osteoporosis Spring Session

REGISTRATION FORM: 2026 Spring Osteoporosis Yoga

Washington Township Recreation is excited to roll right from winter into the fresh energy of spring with the return of our seasonal wellness favorite: Yoga for Osteoporosis! After a brief pause between seasons, this uplifting 11‑week program is ready to help you shake off the chill, welcome brighter days, and strengthen your body through the revitalizing practice of yoga.

If you’re managing Osteopenia or Osteoporosis, this is the perfect moment to refresh your routine and support your bone health. Yoga has been shown to help increase bone mineral density, improve balance, and enhance overall stability. Throughout the program, you’ll move through dynamic, weight‑bearing postures designed to build strength, improve coordination, and encourage healthier alignment and posture. Each class blends mindful movement with practical benefits, helping you feel more grounded, confident, and resilient as the new season unfolds.

Classes will take place every Tuesday from April 7 through June 23, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Washington Township Community Center, 35 East Springtown Road in Long Valley. All experience levels are welcome, and participants should bring a yoga mat, block, strap, water bottle, and towel, along with comfortable clothing that allows easy movement.

Registration is required by April 2, 2026, and a nonrefundable fee applies. A $25 late fee will be added after the deadline, and registration will close once the program begins.
